On this Pentecost Sunday, we turn not to the New Testament to think about the work of the Holy Spirit, but instead to the Book of Numbers, in one of the earliest passages to deal with his work among God's people. As we look at this demonstration of how God powerfully provides for all his people, we will consider the different ways we can respond to what God gives us, and what it means for us when Moses exclaims that "I wish that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put his Spirit on them!"
