Pentecost Sunday reminds us of our need, Jesus’ invitation, Jesus’ promise, and Jesus’ provision.

a. Matthew 6:31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

b. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
3. Jesus’ Promise (Matthew 7:8).
a. Matthew 7:8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
4. Jesus’ Provision (Matthew 7:9-11).

b. Matthew 7:10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
