How many times we question our decisions?

Notes
Transcript

This is an aged question. Is it me? God? or Satan?

It’s because many of us do not know the voice of the Holy Spirit. It’s partly because we make it too deep. God is more simple than you believe. Once you begin having a relationship with Christ, you’ll begin to recognize Him more easily more and more. The relationship becomes more intimate. You will hear Him while watching a movie, driving to work, doing chores..... because you will know how He speaks to you.
For me, I always recognize His voice while I am studying. I have a friend that says she always hear God while watching a movie. The more you spend time with Him, the more you will begin to know where He meet you the most.
Today, we’re going to help with how to know who’s driving your decision. First things first, we only ask this question when we are making MAJOR decisions. We don’t ask this question when we are doing regular things. Go put gas in your car, is it me? God? or the Devil telling me to put gas in my car. Why? The minute things in life seems to not need directions from God.
I want to start with the most basic one today - Is it the devil? Then Wednesday, we’ll cover is it me or God and Friday, we’ll do a question and answer.
How do you know when Satan is giving you directives. First thing you must keep in your thoughts is it will always be a lie.
John 8:44 (LEB)
44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father! That one was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand firm in the truth, because truth is not in him. Whenever he speaks the lie, he speaks from his own nature,* because he is a liar and the father ⌊of lies⌋.
Satan is the Arch Deceiver. Genesis 3:4-5
But the serpent said to the woman, “You shall not surely die. For God knows that on the day you both eat from it, then your eyes will be opened and you both shall be like gods, knowing good and evil.”
Today, we’re going to hone in when the devil’s voice sounds like a familiar voice.
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
1 Kings 13:24
And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am. Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread. And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
Satan’s voice is contradicting to the voice of God. It causes panick and not peace. It is a lie.
