Those who trust in sensual pleasure will be robbed of it

Those who trust in their own power and skill will see their works perish

Nature will suffer under the weight of man’s wickedness and judgment

Even the Lord’s minister’s will grieve at the absence of religious observances

Repentance precedes revival

A broken and contrite heart is necessary for forgiveness

Forgiveness is necessary for restoration

Restoration is necessary for new life
