Let love of the brethren continue.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.
Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”
so that we confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?”
vs. 1-9 – make a list of what you should do. Note what you shouldn’t do. The word translated love in verse 5 is made up from 2 Greek words – philos meaning friend and argyros meaning silver. It’s only used twice in the NT, here and 1 Tim 3:3 (read it).

love fellow Christians
be hospitable
remember those (fellow Christians) who are mistreated and imprisoned, have concern for them
keep the marriage bed undefiled - lust free, have sex only with your spouse, keep your eyes pure and heart pure.
do not love money - be content with what you have - be it little or a lot, do not covet the things of the world.
remember those who shared the teachings of God to you and their faithfulness, imitate their good works and faith.
beware of strange teachings, know your scriptures and remember that Jesus Christ is our focus, and God’s grace...not what we eat or some other means of ‘earning’ God’s favor. see 1 Cor 8:8.

our sacrifice includes offering up prise to God in all things, for our forgiveness, our very breath, life, family, all earthly blessings, hope, eternal home & heavenly blessings.
if we are truly God’s child then we MUST do good and to share what we have which comes from God’s hand, this again is our sacrifice to God. It’s our offering!
obey, submit, have confidence in those who lead us in the church and submit to their authority...this is to ensure we aren’t a burden to their responsibility for our leading which they will have yo answer for but also to ensure we’re being faithful to God and His choice for those who are leaders.
