Revelation 21:1–7 NASB95
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

What does this mean for us today?

Every single person we saw in this Heavenly Drama played a part in fulfilling God’s covenants.
Eve gave birth in anticipation of the coming Seed.
Abraham left his native land in pursuit of God’s promises.
David gave a foreshadow of God dwelling with His people.
Solomon shows the King ruling in all wisdom.
What is your part?
Why has God delayed for the last 2,000 years?
There are two reasons why God is delaying.
Sins of the nations have not reached its pinnacle.
God did not judge Sodom and Gomorrah until their sin was full.
Waiting for the Gospel to be preached to the ends of the earth.
Still 40% of the entire population has not heard the Gospel.
Areas like India and Pakistan, up to 98% of people groups are still unreached.
Out of all followers of Christ today, 27% of them still do not have access to the Bible.
All data from Joshua Project.
Pray and share the glorious and beautiful story of our God.
Tell your friends about how God has been at work since the beginning of time.
Pray for missionaries, church planters, and Bible translators.
Pray for the return of Jesus.
