The Noah Experience Recap

When we were together last Sunday, we read Genesis 5:28 Where it was prophesied that Noah was going to be a sort of a savior.
Lamech, His father, stated, Noah would be the one to comfort us in the Labor of our hands caused by the ground the lord has cursed.
We further read in Genesis 6:1-22, about how Noah was used to restart the life of man.
God wanted to destroy man because of his sinful ways.
We got and understanding of the conditions of the land and sinful nature of the time.
We learned of the Nephilim or Giants roamed the Earth, The fallen Angels were having children with the Human women, and God disdain in regards to what his creation had become.
But he found favor in one man, Noah.
A decedent of Adam.
According to scripture, Noah walked upright and became the chosen one to restart life on earth after the flood.
Noah was given specific instructions.
We made this comparison to our lives.
How we are to listen to the positive things that have been spoken over our lives.
Listen to the prophesies that have been spoken over us.
Look at the favor that has been granted to use.
See, No one knows you journey or struggle but you.
No one knows the God has for you but God.
We must continue to listen to the holy Spirit, Know that Jesus is our Savior and petitioner, and understand that God has a plan for us.
We are not here by chance or happenstance.
We must move foreward in our Noah Experience
The Noah Experience
You might ask, what is the Noah Experience?
The Noah Experience is a period of loneliness
a period of work
a period of exhaustion
a period of where you must be consistent
a period of dedication
a period of obedience
a period of sacrifice
a period of planning and strategy
a period of misunderstanding
a period of action
and a period were you may be criticized
but you must follow through with the plans of God and know that He is on your side.
You must keep going with your head held high and build while thy are mocking, while people talk, while, no one wants to help,
But let me reassure you… troubles and hard times will come but God will see your through.
God will send your help. Continue to keep your head down and work because you will see a day of reward.
God wanted me to go back into this story and tidy some things up, connect, and establish something.
He wanted me to bring you into his will.
He wants us to see his plan.
He wants us to understand that you cannot fail in this season.
Great challenges may come but the plans of God will not fail.
This is your Noah experience.

Noah as a Model of Success

Why God chose Noah.
This will give us some insight into why God has chosen us.
God looks for faith.
He searches your heart to examine your faith.
You may count yourself out and say not me but God knows your heart.
He knew Noah’s heart and ways.
He looks for those that trust in him and believes in him even when there is pain, opposition, and challenges. Noah, walked the path of righteousness.
Some of us may have seen some troubles but pleasing God has been something we desired to do.
Coincidentally, There is always temptation and trouble around us but our faith is what keeps us.
Consider how we guard ourselves and the help of the lord that has gotten us this far.
Thank God for some prayers too.
It was Noah's faith and righteous lifestyle as to what drew God to choose him.
As a Note… Noah’s life is parallels the story of Jesus.
Jesus life was one of faith.
Jesus believed he was sent to do his father’s work.
In comparison, Jesus had a similar work perform by one of his descendants, Noah.
Jesus would stand in the Gap to restart and reconnect God to man.
Just as his relative did, centuries before him.
Noah was a righteous and blameless.
This is a requirement of followers of Christ but most importantly, Leaders.
See, leaders are to be beyond reproach, blameless, and walk upright in the eyes of the Lord.
This is according to 1st Timothy Chapter 3.
Noah was obedient.
God establishes his covenant with Him in Verse 18 of chapter 6.
He could take instruction and act upon the plans that were laid out for him.
After it was all said and done, Chapter 6:22 states, “Noah, did everything that God has commanded him.
Expound (What have we dropped, forgotten, disbelieved, ignored, or ruin that God has told us to do) are we listening when God Speaks. What troubles have we walked into by not listening to God. What have we left unfinished.
Noah was a finisher,
He , planned, produced, and finished.
God is looking for you to finish what he told you to do. (You know what that is).
If you are unsure, ask him what you are supposed to be finishing. It will be revealed.
Also, the scripture stated that God shut Noah into the Ark.
Sometimes, God is the one that is closing doors behind you.
Sometime God is the one leading your to safety. Most often, God is protecting you and helping you to whether the storm and remain safe.
We just have to hear from him be obedient and follow his plan. Can you imagine all the people that were left behind.
Sometimes, God has to cut things out of his plans.
Be ready to abandon what God has ordered you to abandon.
In other words, he has to cut things our of our lies. Some of these things may be near and dear to us but God’s plans have to flourish.
We have to accept the change and know that some Some things are a distraction to us.
In the Noah Experience, everything will not be comfortable. Gird your strength. Guard your spirits.
Hold onto your confidence, Reassure yourself, and know that God is with you.
I want to reassure you, God is with you.
Be determined to finished what God has started and planted.
Noah was smart and determined determined.
Noah new how to test the waters to determine if the waters had receded
He sent the Raven,
He sent the Dove
The sent the Dove again and it later returned with an olive leaf in its mouth
Noah spent more than 1 year on the Arc.
Can you imagine being on that boat with all those animals.
One whole year and some change and there was no Irish spring, Ivory, old Spice, Starbucks, apple iPhone, Verizon Fios, Chipotle, or a computer.
All you had was smelly animals on there.
Please know that your Noah experience will not be pretty.
You are going to have to go through.
God’s plan will have you in mess but you must go through.
Grin and bear it because there is an intended end.
God has a plan.
If we just ride along and hold on God will carry us through the journey.
Look What Happened to the Arc
God flooded the land and killed all the animals but Arc (the Deluge) rose above all death, sin, and the turbulent waters.
The Arc was carried above all the destruction.
God is going to carry us through the turbulent time to his glory
The arc was a safe haven when there was trouble and destruction all around them.
This applies to us.
This reminds me of one of my favorite passages of scriptures.
Psalms 91.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Closing
I want you to recall to recall these thing if you have not learned anything else.
No that god is always on your side.
Know that he is leading you and guiding you along the way.
It may seem that you are alone but God is instructing you, Jesus is loving you, and the Holy Spirit is always sending your messages from heaven
Be consistent, dedicated, diligent, prayerful, always adapting (acting and reacting when necessary)
Think things through, plan, and execute the vision and mission God has set for you.
Most of all, have faith. Faith in who you are, Faith in whom you belong to. Faith in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
