A lack of trust troubles your heart

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

If we are not believing or trusting in God then our are hearts will be troubled

When we are going through uncertian times

When we are not sure what is the right step or thing to do

We will get overwelmed by our thoughts and feelings and not trust in God

But what should we do? Trust

A lack of trust means you are leaning on your own understanding

Proverbios 3:5 KJV 1900

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.

If we are not trusting in God then we are trusting in our experiences and knowledge

Our knowledge is soooo small

We should trust in God’s knowledge

A lack of trust means no peace

Isaías 26:3 KJV 1900

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on thee: Because he trusteth in thee.

God will give us peace if we are trusting in him

It says our mind is stayed on thee

It is interesting that it says mind

Becuase a majority of the time the battle is fought in the mind

We can win that battle if we are trusting in him

We won’t win that battle if we are trusting in our emotions

We can have peace if we are trusting

A lack of trust means that you have no recourse if you are afraid

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

When you are hit with thoughts of fear

Leaving your friends

Not learning the language

Not being able to make it as a missionary

But what should we do
