ACCEPTING YOURSELF AS A GIFT FROM GOD!

The human race is experiencing tremendous levels of emotional and psychological pain.  The most highly prescribed drugs are for anxiety and/or depressive disorders.

Sharply rising are the numbers of psychics, astrologers, gurus, and the 900 telephone services, self-taught therapy, and whatever might offer relief from the confusion and discomfort, associated with emotional conflict.

People from all walks of life are seeking cures for damaged relationships, identity crises, career indecisions, confusion and conflicts.

The world is carnal...   READ for yourselves Rom 7:14-25 for a picture of Acarnality.@

4561 sarx - carnal, carnally minded, fleshly

1) the sensuous nature of man, "the animal nature"

2) the animal nature with cravings which incite to sin

3) the flesh, denotes  mere human nature, the earthly nature of man apart from divine influence, and therefore prone to sin and opposed to God

But our  focus today is on the issue of God=s people, (you and me), Hosea 4:6 A my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.@

My partner and I are in covenant with God and our calling in life is three fold:

1.               to help your confidence in understanding yourself as the special person you.

2.               to help you realize your full potential.

3.               to help you see yourself and other thru the eyes of God.

Why?  Because each of you have enormous value. You all have great potential!  The body of Christ needs each one of you.  God wants to use every one of you!  There are no exceptions! No one is excluded! And that includes the person setting on your left, on your right, behind you, and in front of you.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (NIV)

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (KJV)

Abundantly: 4053 perissos {per©is©sos'}(in the sense of beyond); more, beyond measure, more abundantly, exceeding abundantly above, exceeding some number or measure or rank or need, over and above, more than is necessary, super-added,  something further,  much more than all, superior, extraordinary, surpassing, uncommon, more remarkable, more excellent

Abundantly!  Is there anyone here today that wants life more ABUNDANTLY?

My wife and I are sick and tired of being sick and tired of meeting people who are sick and tired of being sick and tired of living a meager, pitiful life.

That is not God=s design for his people.

I=m not a health and wealth preacher, but I am balanced in the Word of God and understand his promises.

I don=t know about you but I want ALL that God has in store for me.

4.               I want ALL of his promises, mercy, grace, and his unconditional love.

5.               I not only prefer the fatted calf spoken of in Luke 15 slaughtered for the Prodical Son, I prefer the cattle on a thousand hills talked about in Psalm 50:10

6.               I prefer the riches spoken of in Psalm 112:1-3

7.               I prefer Agodliness with great contentment@ mentioned in 1 Tim. 6:6.

8.               I prefer Aall these things@ spoken of in Matthew 6:33 ABut seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.@

9.               I prefer Athe peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.@ Phil 4:7

But wait a minute!  The success of your Christian life depends on two basic things:

1.              How you understand yourself and your new nature and take care of it.

2.               How successfully you learn to understand yourself and who you are for the purpose of living a fulfilled life, abundantly, as God meant it to be.

Becoming a Christian does not end the decision-making process of life.  You still have many choices to make, but if by force of habit your determination is based on self-will, you will be miserable.

Throughout the expanse of creation God has hidden things for humankind to discover and to enjoy.  It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, To search a matter is the glory of kings. Proverbs 25:2

ATo search out@ 02713 chaqar {khaw©kar'} to search, search for, search out, examine, investigate

Aa matter@ 01697 dabar {daw©baw'}speech, word, speaking, thing, saying, utterance, business, occupation, acts, matter, case, something, search out issues of who you are

Ais the glory of kings.@ Proverbs 25:2

Pick it Apart Does Not Even Begin to Describe Us When We Are in Our Critical Moments.  But How About Yourself, Do You Study Yourself the Same Way?  Why...?

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I am not talking about health, wealth, and materialism.  I=m talking about understanding the people around you.  You know, the ones your suppose to love!

Do you want ABUNDANT life ? marriages?  relationships with....

Do you want a better understanding of why you:

Like to socialize or do not like to socialize?

Think negative thoughts all the time the way you do? (Melancholy & drugs)

Interact or don=t have the ability to interact with people?

Feel strong about being in control or leading or perhaps you don=t want to lead?

Initiate or do not initiate in relationships or intimate situations?

Maybe you just don=t want to expend the energy to be more involved.

You fear being rejected by others.

You don=t want to be controlled nor do you want to be in control, except in areas              where you feel competent.

Perhaps you could care less about all these facts and data.  You just want to be              with people, enjoy them, and have fun.

My partner and I are in covenant with God and our calling in life is three fold:

1.    to help you develop self-confidence by understanding yourself.

2.    to help you realize and maximize your full potential.

3.    to help you see yourself and other thru the eyes of God.

WHAT IS WORLEY=S ID PROFILE?   Introduce the pyramid here.

Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

Psalm 139:13  For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16  your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

You have an obligation to yourself and more importantly to God if you believe these passages of Scripture.

Do you believe them?  Yes?

Do you believe that God called you and knew you before the foundations of the world were laid?

Do you believe that He knew you before you were formed in your mother womb?

If you believe this then you  need to Ahave understanding, wisdom, and knowledge,@ about who you are!

Why are you so special that God called you into existence?

Why did He give you the temperament you have?

What are you supposed to do or be doing with your talents and gifts?

What are you to do with your thoughts, your emotions, your feelings?

What are you supposed to do with who you are?

Each one of you are a very, very, special person.  Chosen by God himself for a reason and for this period of time.  Why?...... Why?  Do not look at your outward appearance, consider your heart, emotions, feelings, and that burning compassion within you.  God has designed you the way you are for Himself.  To serve Him.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,

To search a matter is the glory of kings.   Proverbs 25:2

He is not looking for an Isaiah, Jeremiah, Peter, or Paul.  He is looking for you to be who you are as he created you.  There will never be another person on the face of this earth like you. Never!

You are the only person that has the experiences of your childhood, teen years, young adult years, relationships, feelings, and memories,  good or bad.

No one has ever looked at the world though your eyes but you.

No one has ever thought your thoughts but you.

No one has ever experienced your inner needs and desires but you.

On and on it goes and the more you think about it the more you begin to realize that you truly are very different from everyone else on this planet.  Why?

Because God called you into existence, fashioned you in your mothers womb, and numbered your days so that you might serve Him.

You have an obligation to Asearch out the matter.@ Find out who you are!

That=s what WIDP is all about.

As Christian you need to spend the rest of your life identifying why your were called. What does God want to do with you?    His Word says:

Hebrews 12:1-3 1 Therefore, since we (you) are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us (you) throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us (you) run with perseverance the race marked out for us (you). 2 Let us (You) fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our (your) faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
