God’s Promises Are True (vv.1-4)

God’s promises are not dependent on one leader.
God’s promises call for obedient faith.
God’s promises are God’s responsibility and are rooted in God’s grace.

God’s Presence Is Certain (vv.5, 9, 17)

Courage stands on the solid ground that we can be obedient because God is with us.
Courage stands firm because we have a strength that is not our own (see also 2 Cor. 12:1-10).

God’s Principles Are Vital

Scripture calls for diligent obedience.
Scripture calls for dutiful meditation.
Scripture promises success in our endeavors.

God’s People Must Be United

God’s people must share the load in service.
God’s people must strive together for obedience.
God’s people must surrender to their God-given leadership.
