Intro. Prayer is one of the believers most potent weapons. It is where we get our strength to go out for Jesus. It is where we get our salvation to be one of His disciples. It is where we talk to our heavenly Father. It is where we call upon Him for our sustenance. It is where we have fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Prayer is the believers lifeline. It is where we defeat our enemy. This is where we find Hannah. She is pouring out her heart to the Lord.

I. Hannah’s Predicament - vs. 2 Two Wives??? Jacob???

A. The Lord shut Hannah’s Womb

B. The Love Elkanah Had for Hannah

II. Hannah’s Was Provoked vs. 6

A. She fasted and Prayed

B. Elkanah is not Enough!!! vs. 8

III. Hannah’s Prayer -

A. She poured Out her Heart to the Lord. 10-15 yrs and no child!!! God makes you wait for the best. You are drunk woman!!!

B. She was in bitterness of soul!!! Lord if you give me a son! I will give him back to you!!! Hannah weaned him and she went and gave him back to the Lord.

But God then blessed her with 3 sons and 2 daughters.
