*Problem*

 

The marriage is on the verge of being broken up.

Separation may have already happened.

Conflict and disagreement are the rule rather than the exception.

The ideal is that two shall become one flesh Gen. 2:24;

*Counsel*

 

If a marriage is on shaky ground there are steps one or both partners or even a family member or friend can take toward intercession in their behalf.

To be born again and baptized with the Holy Spirit is needed.

One needs to know the voice, authority and power of God, because the natural non-spiritual persons can=t know or receive spiritual things.

It is a spiritual battle for live at its roots - the family.

We need to find the root cause of a problem e.g., inability to accept the other person as he or she is, un-forgiveness, not submissive to each other, etc.

 

Bind Satan Matt.

18:18.

*Matthew 18:18 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

He is a liar and a deceiver and intends to destroy the marriage partners.

Command him to be bound, to leave and not return.

God has given that authority to a born-again believer.

Praise God after having done that forcefully and authoritatively.

Change you attention from the problem, from Satan, from worry, anxiety, etc., to God.  Give Him pre-eminence.

Minister thanksgiving and praise for God solving the problem.

Thanks God for producing the fruit of the Spirit love, joy, peace... for all the ninefold fruit in the people of that family.

If one fasts in behalf of the people involved, interceding in prayer and standing for the spiritually weak persons, God has promised to honor such a fast and repair the breach Isa.

58:6-12.

to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

The Lord is making His face to shine upon them and being gracious to them Num.

6:25.

*Numbers 6:25 25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: (KJV)*

 

He is grounding them and putting their roots deep.

He is keeping them according to His power working in them Eph.

3:17-20

 

*Ephesians 3:17-20 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

13:15.

Make a list of all the things for which you can praise you spouse.

Each day share five things you can honestly praise your spouse for.

Do this instead of criticizing, for at least one week.

Continue until your list runs out.
