When pursuing your purpose it is always good to look back at those who have already done what you are just starting, if you are entering into business you may want to look at the life of individuals who are at the top of the business industry, if you are in entertainment you want to research the victories and failures of those who started with a bad hand and turned a bad hand into a multi-million dollar contract, i often look to individuals who have excelled in the area of ministry in the pulpit and in the marketplace, and all of these individuals will tell stories of the blood, sweat and tears they had to endure to get to where they are and even though some of us have our own blood sweat and tears we have to realize that some of our lessons don’t come first hand but they come from what they have already endured, and we owe it to them to continue in this path with a commitment to making sure that their suffering has not been in vain, these are what we call trailblazers, the individuals who clear out the pathway to make the journey easier for those who will journey that path at a later date. It is the job and the burden of the trailblazer to endure the pain of being struck by the very thing they must cut down and stumble over holes they must fill to make sure that those who are coming next won’t fall in the same areas they had to fall in just to fix and what happens is these are the people we look at and say they made many mistakes along the way not realizing we’ve escaped some things along our journey because the breach was already repaired by the trailblazers, and some of us can testify that we have felt as though we went through things and survived things and didn’t realize we were ending some cycles in our family so our lineage won’t have to deal with some of the same things we’ve had to deal with. It takes a level of maturity to realize and accept when a battle has nothing to do with you but you still have to fight, its what we talked about how the enemy wanted to breakdown Peter because he stood as the leader of the disciples knowing if he could throw off the head the rest of the body would fall apart after Jesus ascended, but for everyone who feels like the burden of your family is on your shoulder I want to strengthen you and tell you that the almighty God has got you covered and the reason you won’t fold under the pressure is because your faith is still in tact, tell somebody you still have faith, even if you fall your faith will stand you up so you can strengthen your brethren, tell someone this is bigger than you.

One of the assignments of the trailblazer is doing something that has never been done before and unless you are in tuned with God in a way that you realize his thoughts are not our thoughts when he begins to speak you will automatically try to see it through your finite intellect and make it make sense to what your are comfortable understanding but this can’t be the case of a trailblazer because God will send you on a journey to a land you won’t know about until you get there, he will tell you to use a staff and cause a snake to form, he will tell you to build an ark in preparation for something called rain that you’ve never seen before but it’s not your job to understand God but it is your job to submit to God, tell somebody obey God, and you will know it is God when he speaks and it sounds impossible, he speaks and you can’t calculate it, he will tell you just enough to keep you guessing so you won’t get ahead of him, God at times is a micro-manager he will give you an assignment but make it so you still need him to accomplish it. That’s why you always get to a point in your process where you seem to have lost your sense of direction and you’re wondering your next steps, this is when God comes back to remind you who’s been controlling this assignment the whole time, and even when your vision sounds strange to other people you must remember who’s vision this is, and this is where our text walks in because God has given Noah an assignment to build an ark for something that has never happened before, and out of his obedience he begins to work on something that would later on serve his lineage, no one had ever seen rain in this dispensation, this generation had not seen rain before so we can’t blame their disbelief but not everyone has the capacity to believe without seeing but Jesus tells Thomas you are blessed because you saw but even more blessed are those who believe without seeing, what is is hope if you can see what you are hoping for but it takes strong faith to say I don’t see it but if God says I believe I’m going to see it at the exact time God said it would happen, don’t stop working on that thing just because the economy looks funny, don’t stop working on that education because your schedule has changed, for he that hath begun a good work in you shall perform it even to the day of Jesus Christ, but this was no one could tell these people to just believe but yet Noah didn’t let that stop him from building his ark, you will have more warfare when the assignment is bigger than you, your marriage will be under attack, your mind will be under attack not because you did something wrong but because you’re working on something that only your faith can see, as you fight in this battle you’re adding nails to your ark, every time someone talks against what you are doing, it’s just a sign that the ark is coming together, you could stop now but the rain is still coming, tell somebody keep working, this is going to bring a harvest you won’t be able to number, but you must keep working, and you cannot fail because God’s got you, clap your hands and say work work work!
