Introduction - 1 Timothy 6:12

Fight the good fight of the faith. nTake hold of the eternal life oto which you were called and about which you made pthe good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

FIGHT is a verb, that is what one is doing .
The second fight is a noun, that is what one is involved in.
Good is an adjective describing the noun Fight.
every one is fighting ,you are either fighting on the right side or you are fighting on the wrong side.
Not every fight is a good fight.
Lay hold on eternal life.

3 But understand this, that yin the last days there will come times of difficulty.

DIFFICULTY

I. in reference to the feelings, hard to bear, painful, grievous

hard to do or deal with, difficult, irksome

difficult times is not new to the people of God.
God provided for Israel in the wilderness.
God sending Joseph in Egypt before the famine
WE ARE LIVING IN DIFFICULT TIMES TODAY.
WE ARE LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS.

1 *GOD, who at sundry times and ain divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath bin these last days cspoken unto us by dhis Son, whom he hath eappointed fheir of all things, gby whom also he made hthe worlds

we have had wars before ,famine before, pestilence before all of which has happened before.
circumstances ought not to stop us from fighting.
what we are seeing is another dimension of the fight.
a fight that has left us with more questions than answers
COVID 19 HAS MADE THINGS DIFFICULT .
Job cuts, no money, no food, etc.

2 For men shall be blovers of their own selves, ccovetous, dboasters, deproud, fblasphemers, ddisobedient to parents, gunthankful, hunholy, 3 iWithout natural affection, itrucebreakers, ||false accusers, kincontinent, fierce, ldespisers of those that are good, 4 mTraitors, nheady, ohighminded, plovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 qHaving a rform of godliness, but sdenying the power thereof: tfrom such turn away.
