John 20:30–31 ESV
Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
How do you know that you can be saved by Jesus dying on the cross?
What is a sign?
It is like a proof, or evidence.
It shows what is really true.
The Bible has written down signs … that help us know that Jesus really was who he said he was.
What are some signs that proved who Jesus was?
Healed the sick.
He feed 5000 people with just a few loaves of bread.
He walked on the water and calmed the storm.
But what is the greatest proof that Jesus really was the savior of the whole world?
He died, and in three days rose from the dead
The people of the Bible of the Bible saw this happen … and they wrote it down … but why?
