Memorial Prayers

There are two types of prayer.

Current

Memorial

When you pay your bills, you have some that are current and some that are not.

If you are paying your mortgage or car payment, it isn’t discouraging that they don’t send a note saying “Paid in full” because you know that there are more payments due.

You agreed at the outset....

You signed up for that....

If you could learnthis in your prayer life, you’d start seeing far greater results.

When praying a memorial type prayer, realize the answer may not appear immediately, or you may give up just before the last payment. If you become discouraged, you’ll cease praying, because you may have been asking for one thing for several years, and it hasn’t happened.
