Strongholds - a fortified place; Fortress; “the high ground”

A stronghold may be a fort, the high ground, a cave, a tunnel a place in your life that Satan can use to fight from!
2 Corinthians 10:3 through 2 Corinthians 10:6 (NIV)
3For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Topic:  Weapons

Title:  Special Operations Forces

During Operation Desert Storm, the Iraqi war machine was overwhelmed by the Coalition Forces' ability to strike strategic targets with never-seen-before accuracy. Unknown to the Iraqis, the Allied Supreme Command had dropped Special Operations Forces (SOF) deep behind enemy lines. These men provided bombing coordinates for military targets and first-hand reports on the effectiveness of subsequent bombing missions.

To avoid unintended targets, pinpoint bombing was often required. A soldier from a SOF unit standing on the ground would request an aircraft high overhead to drop a laser-guided missile. Using a hand-held laser, the soldier would point at the target. The missile would hone in on the soldier's target for the hit.

In much the same way, the prayers of Christians focus the attention of the spiritual powers on high.

Ephesians 6:12 (NLT)
12For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.

Where are the devils strongholds at in your life?

What weapons are you using to tear them down?

Is he hitting “below the belt” is he using caves and tunnels?

North Vietnamese used tunnels they had dug to sneak behind the lines to strike at American soldiers from behind. Even when they would lose a battle they still hid in those tunnels and used them at a later date. Where is Satan hiding in your life?

How can we fight what we can’t see?

2 Corinthians 6:7 (KJV)
7By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

1 Thessalonians 5:7 through 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (NIV)
7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

How can Righteousness be a weapon? By showing those strongholds and getting them out of our life.

Faith? By giving us wisdom in using our weapons and strength in prayer.

Love? GOD IS LOVE!! With this we can then put these out of our lives and our loved ones through PRAYER!

  What Makes Satan Tremble

   Satan trembles when he sees

The weakest saint upon his knees.
