Introduction: Jesus Christ is the way, truth and life, no other way to God, nor heaven yet the entire world is being attacked with message after message each trying to offer another way an easier or better way. Islam is growing faster than Christianity now. And at the same time there are others as well. Christian science, Mormonism, Buddhism, atheism, agnosticism, the list goes on and on getting larger every day with new religions and at the same time there are a lot of needy people out there looking for something that they can’t find.

2 Timothy 4:1-5KJV

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

1.      What has been laid out for all of us to do! Evangelism isn’t just a ministry made of preachers going to revivals, nor just folks like Billy Graham all soul winners are evangelists. You have a ministry a service to do.

Matthew 28:19-20KJV

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

2 Timothy 4:5KJV

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

1. Preach the word.

Romans 10:14-15KJV

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

1. Be instant in all ministries. Continue at all times.

1. Time will come when people won’t want to listen. These are the last days we now live in! we no longer can depend on just a pastor in a church to win all the lost for us we need to get out there and work! The harvest time is now!
