Whole Armor pt 1

Ephesians 6:10-13KJV

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. KJV

Verse 10 be strong in the Lord and the power of His might

a.       Let’s not be strong in our own selves but let’s trust God’s strength

b.      All too often we don’t think we can make it because we are too weak!

c.       We don’t succeed because we don’t stand on the Solid Rock!

Psalm 27:1-2KJV

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Isaiah 26:4KJV

4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

In the Lord is where we find our strength!

•         Strength to go through the day

•         Strength to live our lives

•         Strength make it no matter how bad it seems!

•         Without this strength we won’t be able to carry the whole armor!

•         Where do we find this strength?

Philippians 4:13KJV

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
