God is faithful.

Both are rooted in Scripture. Take a look at these words from Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 7:9–10 NIV
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.

God cannot fail.

We may know this to be true but it is important to be reminded. God will always win, it is a matter of timing.

God brings justice to the oppressed.

This is justice with mercy and grace. God hears the voices of the oppressed.

God wants to use us.

God cannot fail and God will complete what He desires but he also wants to use you and me.

Our task: be willing.

But this is not an easy thing. We see in the song of Deborah there were many fellow Israelites who were not willing.

Fight off self-centeredness and apathy.

This is how we stay willing and eager to be used by God.

God uses the willing and able.

Not able in the sense of military might but able in the sense of physically able not necessarily qualified.
1 Corinthians 1:26–31 NIV
Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

God has said GO, DO, SERVE, LOVE!

These were the words of Deborah to Barak. These are the words of God to us! Our faith is not a spectator sport. We are called to active participation in advancing the kingdom of God. If you want the blessings of God you must be willing to obey God.
