In the world of team sports its a common expression to say, “its not how to start…its how you finish.” You can be down in the first minutes of the Game but if you can make the right adjustments you can get right back into it and possibility win.
I’m so glad that God is not like us. God does not have to finish strong because he started weak. God started out strong, and will finishes strong. God started out great and will finish Great.

...God has been Present (v.1-2)

God was always there. And because God was always there I know God will always be there. The comforting reality that places God before all time and over all creation also places God in the present time and in all creation. This writer wants to get the point across that although things are tough and has been, we serve a God who has been present from the beginning.
“The Bible says the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep” This is an attempt to explain with limited knowledge, language, and understanding the unfathomable chaos of meaningless and nothingness.

...God has been Working (v.3-25)

Days: 1) Light 2) Sky 3)Dry land, seas, vegetation 4)Sun, Moon, stars 5)Fish and birds 6)Animals on land and finally humanity in God’s image
Romans 1:20 says, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
God has been working. This writer of the text is showing us how God fashioned creation from his won mind, with his own hand. It shows us that God works! (Work and Run)
Jeremiah 32:17 says, “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”
Now if we know and believe that God crated and ordered everything that we see and know, we should not worry about the work that God is doing in our lives and on us right now. (Run)
Understand church that the creative working of God in creation is still powerful enough to work out anything you have going on in your life.
When you have a problem with your car. One place you can take it to get it fixed is the manufacturer. That is the best place to take it. Even though someone else around the corner can do it. they get the schematics from the manufacturer. That body, take it God. That relationship…That Job…That Church…That relative...

...God has been Loving (v.26-30)

I once heard somewhere throughout my faith journey that God created humanity because he was alone. I searched the scriptures high and low and could not find a single verse that says or alludes to the loneliness of God. God through the council of the triune Godhead was never lonely, But God is love. There was no person liken God for God to express the everlasting love that is God. So God creates humanity in His own image. (Male and Female)
He gives humanity his image
He gives humanity dominion over his creation
He gives humanity provisions

...God has been Glorious (v. 30)

God looked at all he had done and saw that it was very good.
God’s glory is great concern of God.
All thins work together for “Good”
God does not stop working until it is Good.
