Prayer For those who have yet to start a relationship with Jesus

Prayer for those who want to be consecrated for the filling of the Holy Spirit.

We Believe that the Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly, Satan comes to steal, Kill and destroy.

-Jesus job description is to give us life abundantly

-Satan Job description is to tear away life from us

1 John 3:8 NLT

But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.

this verse tells us that Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil.

Devils work is to steal, kill, destroy Jesus’ work

Jesus came to destroy the devils work

And this is how he did it.....

Acts 10:38 NLT

And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

-Devil is involved with oppression

-If you feel joyful, edified, peaceful, hopeful, rejoicing then we can say that God is at work in us.

-If you feel depressed, hopeless, heavy, it is simple to see who is at work at that time in our lives

We are in a spiritual battle that we may not notice or our culture has started to label the spiritual battle something other than what it is.....

because as people who are in relationship with Jesus sanctified by the filling of our lives by the Holy Spirit and our hearts desire is to please, worship, exalt the name of the Lord

-and yet we keep getting assaulted and beaten down by things where you don’t know where they are coming from.....they are coming from your enemy.

Isaiah 53:5 ESV

But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

Now I have been made acutely aware of the battle that is going on with demons in the spiritual realm.

-Aren’t we saved and sanctified their can’t be demons in us....you are right as people who are filled with the Holy Spirit there is not any demon that can posses our spirits

-Yet we see believers who are defeated in their faith, depressed, lacking joy, despondent .....

-So these things have to be coming from somewhere....we know they aren’t from Jesus .....Right Amen?

-The battle ground is in our soul man....in the battle ground of our minds

Demons will attack places in your life that haven’t been healed

-Demons are drawn to pain like flies are drawn to poop

-They come because there is something they can poke and make you more miserable

-There are 16 of these demonic spirits that scripture talks about

-They come into our minds and in these places of pain and scars they plant or weave in though patterns, like wounds and scars

-We start to have the twisted thought pattern that this struggle is normal Christianity, but Jesus didn’t say this struggle is normal and accept it.

John 16:33 NLT

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

This is what he said so we can live free of these mind sets

-There is a huge difference in experiencing trials for the gospel and suffering for Jesus and struggling with bad mind sets and demonic influences in our minds

Philippians 4:4–6 NLT

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

I believe and we have seen in scripture that you can have all of hell breaking out against you and yet be filled with a peace that isn’t from you, but from the work of God that is protecting your heart.

and I have seen and experienced the opposite in myself and believers in our world

-many of them have everything they need, no persecution, trials that are temporary and don’t threaten their lives, but they have no peace, no joy, restlessness......

We have all authority over demonic forces in the Spiritual realm....Jesus accomplished this through his death and resurrection

We don’t have the authority to heal pain

Jesus carried our pains and our sorrows

We have no authority over human spirits

We can’t force someone who doesn’t want to be free of these things to be free

We have to be thirsty....

I want to suggest that maybe the reason we experience these attacks is because we haven’t allowed the anointing that is on Jesus to heal the pain and broken places in our hearts and set us free

Jesus wants to bind up the broken hearted, set the captives free, people who are in prison to pain, bitterness, offense....this is his anointing....this is Jesus desire.

If we are being attacked by these demonic spirits it makes it harder to hear the voice of God and faith comes by hearing......not our auditory ability, but by the ability to hear the voice of God in our lives.

I want us to be free this morning.....do you want to be free?

There are stronghold in our lives that are part of the lies that we have been listening to for so long it has become a normal part of our life and our thinking...

-A stronghold is a place in our life that we don’t believe or don’t want God to work in our lives despite what scripture says about our freedom.

If we can get rid of those strongholds in our life then we can hear the voice of Jesus

-Hearing his voice brings us faith and faith brings strength.

Just like the woman with the bleeding problem…she had faith

-no one told her that the way she would be healed was to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment.....Jesus said that it was her faith in him which included her battle to get to the hem of Jesus that healed her.

-her faith gave her access to the Power of Jesus

If we are hearing the voice of the enemy bitterness and depression and destruction are growing, but if we are hearing the voice of Jesus

Without Jesus’ presence what I hear him asking me to do this morning is impossible, but I believe that with Jesus all things are possible.....who agrees with that with Jesus all things are possible.

As we walk through this process this morning Im know that if we want to be free in Jesus as he told we could be that we can remove and shake off all the demonic forces that may be at work in our lives

-live with a greater freedom than we have ever known

-live with a greater power in the spirit than we have ever known

We can have freedom in a moment and also in that moment we can live that freedom as a lifestyle.

Matthew 12:43–45 NLT

“When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation.”

1. Close your eyes and ask the Holy Spirit where is my pain from?

-parent, boss, pastor, spouse....who abused you, who disappointed you? There is a source of pain that keeps coming up.

-when you see that person or people tell them in you heart and mind what they did to you....unload it all. Talk to that source of pain. Ask them why.....why didn’t you see, why didn’t you protect me…leave nothing out. do this one at a time…don’t speak to a group.

-pain has to be exposed so God can heal it?

2. Look at Jesus in your minds eye....picture his face.

-ask him this .....If I forgive these people who have hurt me so bad what will you give me in exchange?

-probably will tell you the peace that will come over you will be incomprehensible

-Ill flood your soul with so much joy you wont be able to stand it

-The love that will flow out of your heart and life will change those around you

-Jesus’ exchange rate is unfathomable

3. Look back at the people/person who hurt you

-tell them you forgive them

-I free you, you are no longer my responsibility

-I forgive you from the bottom of my heart

Now you free from that prison and from the what others have done to you.

4. Now look in the mirror and you have to forgive yourself

-some of you have wronged people

-some of you have lied, stolen, cheated, maybe there is an abortion in your past that still has a hold on you

-You have hurt your parents, your friends

-How can you forgive others if you haven’t forgiven yourself for the things that haunt you in your past?

-Let yourself go....Jesus has forgiven you, but you have to forgive yourself!

5. Now look at God the Father......I want us to be careful because we aren’t forgiving God of anything…he hasn’t done anything wrong that would be crazy of us to think we need to forgive God for something.

-I do want you to tell him about the things you have been disappointed in?

-Why is my marriage struggling? Why haven’t I been healed? Why is my family struggling?

Why haven’t I seen a miracle here in this place of my life? Why are my kids still lost?

-BE HONEST?

-WHY IF I HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL TO YOU WHY?

-He already knows all this BUT HE WANTS YOU TO TELL HIM!

-Now look at His face again

-do you see his smile? Do you see his tears of compassion?

-Tell Him .....I trust you God! I know you are faithful! I know you are good! Regardless of what I have experienced I will trust you!

-No one who has ever put their trust in God has been put to shame

6.Now ask the Holy Spirit if you have made any vows in your pain or anger

-Ill never forgive this person

-Ill never be vulnerable to anyone again

-Ill never trust again

-Ill never believe that again

-Ill never talk to that person again

If it’s an unholy vow ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you

-We should only have holy vows to God in our lives it says in scripture

If there is any unholy alliance you have made separate from t he Holy Spirit ask him to break it off now.....break off all those lies.

How many have asked so far with sincerity of heart?

7. Ask the Holy Spirit if there is anything else that you need to let go of in your life

-Whatever he shows you give it up to him

-We need to let go of everything that is a source of pain

-We need to get completely free today....totally free because we are totally forgiven

-If it’s with someone else forgive them....if it’s with yourself....forgive yourself

Now we need to agree with each other in a prayer of healing

-Jesus you have promised that you would bind up our brokenness and set us free

-We trust you to heal the pain in our lives

8. I want you to know once again picture that person or people who were the source of that pain and I want you to pray a prayer of blessing over them!

-WE know that Jesus is starting the healing when we can pray for our enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

-I pray for you, your family, your lineage, I pray God fills you and blesses you!

Amen We are set free!

Now that we have asked Jesus to heal our pain.....he is doing that and in a moment you can feel the weight lifted from you, but you can do this process as often as you need to as that pain is still in the process of healing.

-now we are going to name and recognize these demonic spirits that attach themselves to our pain and command them to leave our lives.

1. Pride- self

Proverbs 16:18 NLT

Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.

2. Jealousy- competition, division, envy 1 Peter 2:1-2 James 3:16

3. Fear- unbelief, fear of man, of sickness/disease, death 2 Timothy1:7, Job 3:25

4. Bondage- orphan, poverty, victim, addictions (Father wounds) Romans 8:15, John 14:18

5. Divination- witchcraft, occult, free mason, talks to dead Acts 16:16, Isaiah 8:19, Deuteronomy 18:10-14

Rebelion is witchcraft.....it’s in the church

6. Error- false truth, form of godliness denying power, cult, spirit of religion 1 John 4:6

we want part of the power but not all of it

cults have a little truth woven into it

the spirit of religion is everywhere in the church and its a stench in God’s nostrils

this isn’t from our hearts that are saved and sanctified wanting to be pleasing to God....it’s from our enemy

7. Lying spirit- false prophets, superstitions, all lies, exaggeration 2 Chronicles 18:22

8. Perversion- lust, all kinds of sexual sins Isaiah 19:14, Romans 1:25-27

9. Seduction- flattery, performance, Jezebel, Delilah, Ahab 1 Timothy 4:1

flattery to climb the latter

performance to be accepted

it’s everywhere

10. Harlotry- never satisfied, allured by the world, idolatry Jeremiah 10:21, Hosea 5:4, Hosea 9:1

11. Anti-Christ- my thoughts are higher than His thoughts 1 John 4:3, 2 John 7

I know your word says this but I think this would be better

Or I dont think his word really means that.....like the serpant who came to Eve

12. Stupor- comes against the prophetic, blocking the voice of God Romans 11:8, Isaiah 29:10, Revelation 3:1

I don’t have that gift so I can’t do that

13. Infirmity- Luke 13:11

Satan can’t have our spirits so he attacks our bodies

14. Deaf & Dumb- bi-polar, schizophrenia, Parkinson’s Mark 9:25

traumatic situations that attack our minds

15. Death- car accidents, injuries, hurt continually, abortion, miscarriage, dead dreams 1 Corinthians 15:26, Revelation 1:18 (Mother wounds)

When is the other shoe gonna drop

steals your ability to dream

16. Heaviness- hopeless, depressed, low self esteem, emotional deadness, self pity Isiah 61:3

Aren’t we glad we have power/authority over these spirits

Luke 10:19 NLT

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

James 4:7 NLT

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 5:8–9 NLT

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

Ephesians 6:10–11 NLT

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Our battle is not one of flesh and blood but it is to come against these powers and spirits that try to attack us.

-Walking in authority over these attacks

-Walking in peace in our relationship with Jesus

I want us to be encouraged because if we can be encouraged we can be free! WE can know his voice and follow Him not the voices of these spirits.

Again Strongholds are:

-A stronghold is a place in our life that we don’t believe or don’t want God to work in our lives despite what scripture says about our freedom.

2 corinthians 10 says we have the power to tear these down

Romans 10 says for us to believe in our heart and confess with our mouth. So Im going to lead you through this and I’m going to ask that you repeat after me.

We are going to go through these spirits 4 at a time so we will say 4 prayers.

Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus and by the power of his shed blood I repent, renounce and I cast out the spirit of:

Pride

Jealousy

Fear

Bondage

I tell you to go to the dry places, you have no place left in me, I am covered by the blood I am free, you can’t come back because I know your schemes, I am going to walk in victory from this moment forward. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

THIS DOESN’T MEAN YOU WONT BE TEMPTED AGAIN....YOU DON’T HAVE STRONGHOLDS IN YOUR LIFE

YOU HAVE AUTHORITY OVER ALL TEMPTATION

YOU CAN KNOW IF IT IS THE VOICE OF GOD OR THE VOICE OF A DEMON

IF IT BUILDS YOU UP, GIVES YOU COURAGE, MORE BOLD -IT IS FROM THE LORD

IF IT TEARS YOU DOWN, TALKS YOU OUT OF FAITH, TAKES AWAY YOUR COURAGE -IT IS AN ATTACK FROM OUR ENEMY

WE DONT HAVE TO GO LOOKING FROM THEM THEY WILL COME LOOKING FOR YOU! BUT YOU HAVE AUTHORITY OVER THEM.....

IF YOU MEANT THE PRAYERS YOU PRAYED YOU ARE FREE AND YOU CAN REMAIN FREE!

IF YOU ARE IN THE WORD OR PRAYING OR GOING ABOUT YOUR DAY AND A THOUGHT COMES THAT TRIES TO TEAR YOU DOWN YOU CAN SPEAK TO IT AND SAY NOT TODAY! GET BEHIND ME SATAN

IF YOU ARE IN YOUR PRAYER TIME AND IN THE WORD AND GOD SHOWS YOU MORE PAIN YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF IT IN YOUR SECRET PLACE JUST LIKE WE DID TODAY!
