The Battle for Purity

How to advance in the battle of purity.

Trust the faithful promises of the Word of God. We are going to talk about spiritual warfare here in a few weeks, but know right now…we have two amazing weapons at our disposal…the sword of the word and the shield of faith.

We certainly understand

Devil, you lie. - When the enticement grabs your eye or the thought is whispered in your ear…you grab that shield of faith and bull rush. By faith we say, “NO.” Not true. No satisfaction here. You promise, but devil you lie. And watch your shield of faith extinguish the flaming arrow.

Psalm 73:25 ESV

25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.

Psalm 16:11 ESV

11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Pleasures flowing forevermore…David said that is at the right hand of God…when Jesus rose and ascended into heaven…where did He ascend to? The right hand of God.

Go to Him. Learn from Him. Take from Him the easy yoke He promises. Drink from Him and find rest for your thirsty parched soul.
