The Fruits/ Proof of Authentic/ True Christianity

We are in a time more pressing then ever to understand the fruits of authentic Christianity
We have an understanding that not all churches are created equal and all teachers are not created equal
Are you seeing booming churches?
What is the type of church you are seeing boom?
Would you say you are seeing people searching for comfort in religion?
But are the seeking comfort from the 1 true God and His TRUE word
Is it enough for people to “just be thinking of the idea” or “at least they are attending a church”
(I spoke with someone just yesterday and they made the reference that they seem to believe that more people are opening their minds to spiritual faith) - what does that really mean???
The concern for the deceived
1 Timothy 4:1–5 NASB95
1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3 men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; 5 for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.
2 Timothy 4:3–4 NASB95
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
2 Timothy 4:2 NASB95
2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
.,In the times we are in it is important that we strengthen our biblical knowledge and understanding
Not only for our ability to disciple to others BUT to strengthen ourselves and our children
2 Timothy 3:14–15 NASB95
14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 3:15–16 NASB95
15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; 16 and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.
- It is important for us to be able to recognize the fruits in our own lives and in the lives of those that we surround ourselves with
Matthew 7:15–18 NASB95
15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17 “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.
what happens when there is 1 bad piece of fruit in a bowl of “good” fruit?
1 Corinthians 15:33 NASB95
33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
