Her Disease

She was dealing with an issue for 12 years

· The issue made her unclean, uncertain, and at maybe even unwanted

· She had suffered much at the hands of the doctors

o Those who were supposed to help her had also caused her grief

o She was broke, financially in despair

Her Determination

Pressing requires several things

· There has to be an aim, goal

· There has to be some level of faith that I or we can obtain or achieve the goal

· There has to be some consistently persistent to reach the goal.

· The question that we have to ask ourselves, because Mother Barbara has made her transition, is whether we are pressing in life’s struggles without a purpose or an end or if we pressing towards the ultimate end the high prize in Christ Jesus.
