It takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].

Another words it doesn’t take an account to an offense.
The Greek word for “offend” in Luke 17:1 comes from the word skandalon. This word originally referred to the part of the trap to which the bait was attached. Hence the word signifies laying a trap in someone’s way.
In the New Testament it often describes an entrapment used by the enemy. Offense is a tool of the devil to bring people into captivity. Paul instructed young Timothy 2:26
Love Forgives. it doesn not hold a grudge. It is not touchy, easily offended, nor is it fretful or resentful.
We have opportunity just about everyday to get offended, each time we must make a choice. If we choose to live by our feelings, we will never flow in this all important facet of love.
About 95% of the time when people hurt our feelings, it was not what they intended to do.
We assume people are attacking us, while the truth is, most of the time they are not even interested in us, let alone staying up nights trying to figure out ways to offend us.
This is part of thinking the best of every person. To give them the benefit of the doubt. We can choose to think the worst of ( you know that they did the thing to hurt us on purpose) or choose to believe the best ( that they did not mean the thing the way we perceived it)
Forgiveness is better for us so that we can live in peace with God, ourselves, and others.
Refusing to forgive thinking that we are getting the other person back is like drinking poison thinking it going to cause the other person to die.
What’s going to help us live this way. It’s going to be by being filled with the Spirit on a daily basis.

Love Never Fails

It’s hard to show love to someone who doesn’t appreciate it or even responds to it.
Its hard to show love to someone who only takes from us and doesn’t give back.
We are not responsible for how others act, only how we act.
If we quit our God assignment because no one is noticing him he is not serving God from a pure heart.
If we will not quit walking in love we will win the victory!
Galatians 6:9 ESV
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
