Herd Immunity

Herd immunity occurs when a large portion of a community (the herd) becomes immune to a disease, making the spread of disease from person to person unlikely. As a result, the whole community becomes protected — not just those who are immune.

How can we grow and be protected?

You cannot do it alone

Scripture is very clear the we need one another

One another - one word (ah-lay-loan) - 100 times in NT

You cannot love Jesus and hate His bride

That’s what we are talking about today

And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.

Bad habits - neglecting becomes habits -

Church is often the first thing to go - sports, family, etc

It is easy to get out of the habit - some say 21 days is a habit - take up to 250 days

So it is easy to “get out of the habit”

What if we were a place - considered on another, provoked one another, encouraged one another

Some decision are too important to make alone

Plans fail when there is no counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

We need each other, we need different perspectives to get the clear picture

There are thing you cannot face alone and win

We see this in addictions

We need help saying no sometimes

We need community - He made it
