Developing and increasing FAITH (2)

we are continuing talking about FAITH

it is central and fundamental to a believer

Faith is believing that God’s word is the truth

our faith must grow and increase or we will become stagnated. Cant rely on what we’ve done in the past

everyone is given a measure of faith in the beginning

we have to get to a place were we continue to grow.

some of us may think that we are growing but we really are not.

if we want to see our faith increase

Remember God’s Past faithfulness

Numbers 13:30–31 NASB95

30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will surely overcome it.” 31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are too strong for us.”

Moses sent spies into the promised land because it was the land that God promised to the Nation of Israel.

Some of the spies came back and reported that occupants were too strong. those spies forgot what God promised them! They also forgot the past.

God just recently parted the red sea

Thank GOD that 2 of the spies remember God’s promise and declared that they can conquer the land!

If you want your faith to increase, just look at God’s track record not only in scripture but in your own life

God is invested in your life
