What is a vision?
What is a vision?
Is it a passionate inspirational thought that you try and put into action, because you truly believe that others need to experience it?
Is it an encounter with the living God through a supernatural experience that conveys some sort of revelation?
Is it the soft inner nudge that protects and corrects you on your lifelong pilgrimage?
Is it all the above?
Here is a gem to hold onto: “A vision from God… is from God!!!
Acts 2:17-18 | Joel 2:28-29 | Pour out = An Abundance
And it shall come to pass afterward. That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also, on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
What to do with a vision?
What to do with a vision?
First, know we need it | we will perish without it – Proverbs 29:18 | Vision; Revelation; Prophetic Word (REMA)
Second, follow it through | Psalm 119:115 – Lamp to me feet and a light to my path.
Thirdly, do something with it | Acts 10:44 - While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.
How to keep a vision?
How to keep a vision?
We must show 'initiative'.
James 4:8 says, ”Come near to God and He will come near to you ”.
Not the other way around. No matter where we are at in our journey, we need to have the mentality that we can learn if we want to move forward.
We must be 'teachable'.
Proverbs 1:7 says, ”The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”
Finally, we must remember that we are on the winning team if we choose to live for Christ. He has made us into a new creation.
He is our ”Rock”! Psalms 18:2 says... ” my God is my Rock in whom I take refuge ”.
We must proclaim that we are 'immovable'!
