Transcript
1. Foreknown: Romans 8:29 — “For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, in order that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.” (Also see 1 Peter 1:2 .)
2. Elected: 1 Thessalonians 1:4 — “For we know, brothers loved by God, that He has chosen you.” (Also see Romans 8:33; Colossians 3:12; Titus 1:1 .)
3. Predestined: Ephesians 1:11 — “In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will”
4. Chosen: 1 Peter 2:9 — “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession ...” (Also see Matthew 22:14 .)
5. Called: Romans 9:11 — “... though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad — in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of Him who calls.” (Also see 1 Thessalonians 5:24. )
