Jeremiah 31:36–37 NLT
“I am as likely to reject my people Israel as I am to abolish the laws of nature!” This is what the Lord says: “Just as the heavens cannot be measured and the foundations of the earth cannot be explored, so I will not consider casting them away for the evil they have done. I, the Lord, have spoken!
Our covenant with Him is a covenant He has made with us. He is the originator of this agreement, we are not.
The basis of this agreement is His faithfulness not our faithfulness not our faithfulness.
Ephesians 2:1-5
Ephesians 2:1–5 NKJV
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
We are told to come out from the world and be separate. Do not live like the world lives.
2 Cor 6:17
2 Corinthians 6:17 NLT
Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.
We are told how to prove what is the pleasing and perfect will of God we must not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds -
Romans 12:1-2
Romans 12:1–2 NKJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
This transforming our minds, this coming out from among them, all leads us to a surrendering of our will for His will
Jesus taught the disciples to pray “on earth as it is in heaven”
We are letting go of our wants and desires and taking up heavens desires. This is being a servant Jesus Christ.
Psalm 37:1-4
Psalm 37:1–4 NKJV
Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
When you constantly envy those around you your heart is discontent and never satisfied. The Lord will take care of the evildoers. Trust in the Lord and do good. Feed on His faithfulness.
Did you hear that your heart and mind on Yeshua’s faithfulness and not your neighbors shiny new toy’s or their big new raise their next purchase. If you let envy seep into your heart you will discontent to set in and the enemy sew seeds of unfaithfulness in Feast to your life that will lead you to a person with divided heart and a divided affection.
Jesus said a man cannot serve two masters He will love the one and hate the other.
Feast on the faithfulness of the Lord, then delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desire of your heart.
When you have given yourself over to His faithfulness, it His covenant, He is the covenant Keeper, you are not.
You are going to fail, tis relationship is dependent upon Him
Now you reach a new level of surrender and your desires have become His desires, like the desires in your heart have become aligned with heaven.
Not my will but yours be done, now He will give you the desire of your heart.
Now the desires in your heart are His kingdom and not your own selfish desires.
This is you operating out of the love of the Covenant Keeper instead of fighting to have a religious condemning relationship with an angry God that you thought you knew.
