vs. 1-2,
Philippians was written by Paul about AD 61-62 while he was in prison in Rome (most commonly accepted location and time). He was writing to the church at Philippi a church he founded on his second missionary journey.
Joy
vs 3-7 In this section Paul talks about the Day of Christ Jesus (The second coming) his eyes were not on here and now only but looking to the future with Christ.
Love
vs 8-11 Love grows in knowledge and discernment Again speaks of the day of Christ
