Resolve Within Your Heart

Daniel 1:8 ESV

But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself.

With love and respect Stand for the of Christ

Daniel did not demand special treatment when he sought to only eat vegetables and water. He respectfully and graciously trusted that God would grand the request.

Daniel and his friends stood for the truth with kindness and humility. They did not demand or strut. they simply said, this violates our Gods law. Will you excuse us from these regulations?

Because of their faithfulness not only was Gods Word proclaimed, but God was glorified in that day.

With boldness and a holy confidence stand for Truth

After Nebuchadnezzar had his first dream, everyone was terrified because

Daniel 2:10 ESV

The Chaldeans answered the king and said, “There is not a man on earth who can meet the king’s demand, for no great and powerful king has asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or Chaldean.

But Daniel boldly told the guards, I agree no man can do this but me inquire of God.

Daniel Saw the impossible task at hand and He told the King, give me time to see what God says.

Then I will come back.

Daniel returned and the dream was told and interpreted. God was glorified and and the King worshiped God.

Be willing to be crushed for the Gospel

Daniel 3:18 ESV

But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Schadrach Meschach and Abednego were so committed to the Word of God that when the moment came they were willing to die instead of compromise.

Because of this Christ was able to Shine thru them.

Let Christ Shine through you today. Stand for the Gospel and do not Compromise the Truth of Christ!

The Remnant of God will lead those living in Darkness to the Saviour.

Nebuchadnezzar was a wicked man. a prideful, but God used His people. to reach this king.

There were a lot of Jews in Babylon, but these four are remember uniquely, not because of their ability to be relevant, but because they refused to compromise the Gospel of Christ!

You see in each of these moments God was laying the foundation, He was sowing the seed for the kings redemption. He was sowing that seed through people who refused to hide.

If you was to be used by God for great things.

Resolve within your heart to never Compromise the stand and the truth of Christ.

With Love and respect stand for the Truth

Not arrogantly or demanding.

But with humility and grace Stand and refuse to move!

With a Holy Confidence and boldness Stand for the Truth

Do not fear interjecting into the world the truth of Christ.

Do not cower before inferior Gods. If the holy Spirit prompts you. Stand for Truth and herald it through the heavens.

Thirdly, we must be willing to be crushed for the Truth.

When we are willing to be thrown into difficult situations for Jesus, His truth, His Gospel, His power will shine like the Dawn!
