Eulogy
91 years of age
Multitudes of memories which are hard to condense to just a few minutes.
She led a busy and full life
from raising 4 children and being involved with helping her grandchildren.
She loved her family and family celebrations. (the more the merrier or better)
She was crushed when she lost her husband Paul Sr. and her son Paul Jr.
She loved her birthday parties and getting dressed up for special occasions.
In going through old pictures of hers, the family found out where the love of hats began, when she was a you woman.
She loved to wear her hats to church.
Some even told he she looked like Queen Elizabeth and that always brought a smile to her face.
She loved gardening.. and she loved sharing her vegetables.
Cleaning out her big chest freezer, she had more seeds in it than anything else.
Isaiah 40:30–31 ESV
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Revelation 21:4 ESV
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
John 14:1–6 ESV
1 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
