Do We Really Keep Our Mind On God?

Think about it. . . Why do we worry, complain, stress out, and become tired or weary? Have you ever stopped and just wondered why?

I am so concerned about this

I am so worried about that

Stress is causing me to become paranoid

Stress - Pressure or tension exerted on an object

Distress - Distress, anguish, calamity, trouble, hardship, difficulty. It means to be put into a narrow place; to be compressed together; to experience extreme pain, sorrow, and affliction.

When you have so much occupying your mind that is not of God, you become unsettled and your own thinking begins to take over, then you have allowed what the enemy wants to rob you of, to be taken.

This is why we enter into hardships, difficulties, trouble, anguish and then feel so confound because we have allowed our mind to become unsettled from Who keeps us set!

I Must Keep My Mind Set!

I testify, I am guilty of allowing my own thinking to unsettle me, and when this happens, now I have allowed sin to birth!

Before you go to wondering, see how your mind became unsettled because I said I allow sin to birth! Let me tell you what sin is; actually it is not thinking as God! Yes, I said it; your mind to to be set on God’s Mind!

Isaiah 55:7 - 8 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

We have been given instructions and the authority to allow our thoughts to be His Thoughts, so that our ways will line up with His Ways!

In order to really keep your mind set on God you must first realize that you allow too much other stuff cloud your thought life! Proverbs 29:25 (NKJV) 25  The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.

Truth be told we worry because we rely on what we think it should be, how it should go and we allow the thought to manifest into something outside of God’s Word, then we wonder why we are so burdened down!

Well, remember, Jesus has already offered a lighter load, why are we carrying burdens that He has already asked you to exchange with Him?

Where your mind sets, matters in this life! Proverbs 23:7a For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.

Mind Setting is pivotal in this season because the enemy has so many appearances that he wants you to use and cause you to see, so that you will become unsettled and forget Whose In You!

I truly believe we have become so familiar with particular text of scripture, we do not allow that Word to keep us as it should!

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

Christ was settled on His Father’s Business, it did not matter what His Natural looked like, He knew that His Father’s Business was where He needed to have His Mind Set!

Even though He knew what was about to befall Him, yet His Mind was set on His Father!

We have allowed our Mind to become unsettled with all of the thoughts that we allow to rise up above the knowledge of God!

We must Keep Our Mind Set on things above and not things on earth because these things here will cause you to become delusional!
