He Helps!

We focused last Sunday on the realization that our Help comes from the Lord.
We spoke about the reality of our burdens and the struggle to focus ourselves in the right direction in the middle of the burden.
But yet, the One who is our help has a resume to prove His ability, worthiness, and standing.
Let’s read our verses from last Sunday as an intro into this week’s message.
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
There is no slippage with Him!
There is no slippage with Him!
“He will not let your foot be moved...”
Ps. 46:1 (Refuge and strength)
Not only is He our strength, but he uphold us.
10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Even so as we re-approach Ps. 121:2
He Does Not Lose Focus!
He Does Not Lose Focus!
“He who keeps you will not slumber...”
We may lose focus, we may grow tired.
The Prophet Isaiah reminds us of such.
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
But our God is not only able and securing. But He is present and focused.
8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
He is more! He is more!
He is more! He is more!
