Election Exhortations

Some Exhortations for Tuesday’s Election.

Our help is not going to arrive on Air Force One

Joshua 5 He is doing reconnaissance around the walls of Jericho. He sees a man in battle array. He asks the man what side he is on. If he was on their side he knew he would have reinforcements. If he was on their side he knew he was in for double trouble. The man replies, I am not on your side or on their side. I am Captain of the Lord’s army I did not come to take sides I came to take over. God does not ride the backs of donkeys or elephants.

In a football game there are three teams out on the field at one time. The offensive team, the defensive team they are going at each other and no way to get them on the same page. Then there is the third team of officials. They are on the field but not of the field. They’re in the chaos but not of the chaos. They belong to another kingdom called the NFL. Their job is not to listen to the roar of the crowd be they boos or cheers, or to the factions that are against each other. Because they have been handed a book and every decision they make on the field is to is to reflect the book that has been handed from the kingdom they represent. You and I are from another Kingdom let’s be representing the King in this election.

I would like to think that God is not through with America and that America is not through with God

We will not be changed by the agenda of the donkey, or the agenda of the elephant, we will be saved only by the agenda of the LAMB

Agenda of the Lamb is Spirit driven –

Spirit of Pharaoh – holding people in Egypt in the bondage of fear

Spirit of Goliath – Mocking and intimidating the people of God

Spirit of Jezebel – Makes people hide in caves with sexual perversion

Spirit of Absalom – Dividing homes churches and relationships

Spirit of Herod - Killing the young through abortions,

But there is a Spirit more powerful than all of these combined. The most powerful Spirit alive still is the Holy Spirit of Almighty God. He is still moving in our nations. It is not by might not by power but by my Spirit sayeth the Lord.

Lenin 1917 in St. Petersburg Square declared by the 21st century the whole world would be communist there wouldn’t be a Christian alive

1939 Hitler – Declared they would outlast the Church of Jesus Christ

1960’s The Beetles declared That by the 21stcentury they would receive more adoration than the Father Son and the Holy Ghost.

We are in 2012 Lenin is Gone, Hitler is Gone, The Beetles are gone but the Church is still alive and well.
