Handout
The people who rejected Jesus
Disciples/Peter specifically
Judas
Accusers
He was alone on the eve of Him saving the world!
Why they rejected Him
It interfered with their life
They didn’t want to try to make Jesus the Lord of their lives, so they got rid of Him instead
It gave short term benefits
There were immediate rewards for not being a Christian that were attractive to Judas (and Us)
Faith got hard and they broke
The world took their faith and tried to smash it
So What?
Don’t reject Him
You won’t find anything good, only misery
Why did Jesus ask for the Father to ‘remove the cup’?
Why do people reject Jesus now?
Do you think you would reject Jesus like the disciples if you were with Him at this point? Why?
