Pits & Peaks Genesis 37:24 9/30/12

1. Pits are real (Have you ever been in the pits?)

A. Pits can be condemnation (but only for known sin)

B. Sometimes it feels like condemnation (But no known sin)

2. Pits are rough (It was empty)

A. Joseph was to die there

B. Job had a pit experience

3. Pits seem long and endless

A. Look for the light at the end of the tunnell

B. Hold on Pits are for growing

1. Songwriter said, "We're not in the valley we're just changing mountain tops" Maybe thats an optimistic view of things but that is one way to look at it

4. Peaks - Mountains

A. Not always easy to climb but wonerful view at the top

B. Struggles and things can get in our way but if we'll climb over them instead of letting them keep us down we'll make it
