The supreme quality of Jesus Christ’s love
Eph 3:17–19
Ephesians 3:17–19 (KJV 1900) — 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Romans 8:35 (KJV 1900) — 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:38–39 (KJV 1900) — 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It caused him to leave his eternal glory
2 Co 8:9
2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJV 1900) — 9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Philippians 2:6–8 (KJV 1900) — 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
It moved him to give his life for others
1 John 3:16 (KJV 1900) — 16Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
John 10:11 (KJV 1900) — 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
John 10:14–15 (KJV 1900) — 14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
John 15:13 (KJV 1900) — 13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ephesians 5:2 (KJV 1900) — 2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Revelation 1:5 (KJV 1900) — 5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.
He loves sinners
Luke 23:34 (KJV 1900) — 34Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
