This Little Light Of Mine

Romans 8:5 ESV

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.

Our lives our driven by who or what has the number one seat in our life.

If my mind is set of the flesh...

My Desire / My Passions / My Way / My Plan / My Agenda

Then my flesh in in the driver seat…

Driven by what I watch...

Driven by what I hear....

Driven by what I touch…

Driven by what I smell…

Driven by what I taste....

This is the true battle....

When I allow my flesh to be in control!

But....

Those live according to the sprit set their minds on the things of the Spirit..

When I set my mind on the Spirit I but God back in his seat…

My drive has changed…

My attitude is different

I have Joy

I have Peace

I have Love

My praise is different…

The reason why this seat is so important is because it has to do with your light!

This little light of mine....

In Luke chapter 8

Jesus gives a parable about the power of the word of God

Luke 8:15 ESV

As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

Luke 8:16 ESV

“No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.

Whatever is in control of the seat.... Is on the stand....

The stand represents the stage....
