Have you seen His Presence?

Joel 2:24-32 is a passage of hope and promise after some not so great warnings and threats. Locusts were a threat to crops which gave a severe punishment for disobedience and disloyalty.
Joel called for repentance among the people of Judah so that they could be right with God. We are able to receive powerful insight from this interaction as we take away the importance of confession and repentance.
Joel in some cases has been such a drastic change middle way through chapter two that it has been considered whether another author took over. However, this line of thought is inconclusive. Joel represents Gods power, authority, steadfastness, and grace.
Shortly after this passage we find in chapter 3 the coming judgement which has apocalyptic ties. Joel being a short book, is yet packing a punch as it unleashes great detail into the understanding of God.
