5 Reasons why you should give your life to be a missionary

Because Jesus saved us

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We deserve death

Because we are sinners

Because we have done horrible things

But Jesus gave us life

Jesus suffered and died

Jesus paid the priceto save us

So we should be willing to use our lives to serve him

It doesn’t really matter what we what

It doesn’t really matter what our heart says if our king Jesus who shed his blood on Calvary says something different

We should be willing to do what he wants

So what does he want?

Because it is our resonable service

Romanos 12:1 KJV 1900

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

He wants for us to present ourselves as a living sacrifice

That means we have no control

That means we have no rights

That means that the most comfortable or logical caree choice isn’t always the one we should take

And it makes sense

It makes sense in the light of the Gospel

For someone from the world it doesn’t make sense

To go to another country and spend your life there

But in the light of the Gospel it is just a logical choice

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

The reason that most people don’t to serve Jesus is because they don’t have compassion

They are selfish

We as humans are selfish

We only care about our own and what we want

It is interesting that the Bible says that you can make a difference

It is not just that some people are going to get saved and others won’t

The Bible says that you can have a part in that

You can make a differnce in peoples lives

It might take time

It might hurt you

Sometimes you won’t be able to make a difference

But with the people that you can help it will all be worth it

Because God wants everyone to be saved

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Not just the people in america

All

96% of the world lives outside of america so a big part of that all is in other countries

He is giving us time to be able to take the Gospel to others

He isn’t slack

Or a procrastinater

He is longsuffering

There are many horrible things happening in the world

The truth is that the world does need judgement

Sin and sinners do need to be punished

But God is longsuffering

So we should use the time that God has given us to take the Gospel to others
