Jesus, is the only one who has the right Theology about our Heavenly Father, the perfect relationship, any other concepts or opinions about God the Father, needs to be corrected by Jesus teachings.

Our Perfect Father,
In the past weeks we have talked about how Jesus sees our Heavenly Father
Loving father, an intimate Father, generous giver, a counselor, a defender, a friend,
forgiving, the one who restore us.
1 He is Perfect.
1 He is Perfect.
Psa 145:8 The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.
Psa 145:9 The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.
This is how Jesus sees Him a perfect Father. King David in psalms 139
Psa 139:1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O LORD, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me.
Psa 139:2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up [my entire life, everything I do]; You understand my thought from afar. [Mat_9:4; Joh_2:24-25]
Psa 139:3 You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And You are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Psa 139:4 Even before there is a word on my tongue [still unspoken], Behold, O LORD, You know it all. [Heb_4:13]
Psa 139:5 You have enclosed me behind and before, And [You have] placed Your hand upon me.
Psa 139:6 Such [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high [above me], I cannot reach it.
He is all knowing, omniscient.
Psa 139:7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
Psa 139:8 If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead), behold, You are there. [Rom_11:33]
Psa 139:9 If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
Psa 139:10 Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will take hold of me.
Psa 139:11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will cover me, And the night will be the only light around me,"
Psa 139:12 Even the darkness is not dark to You and conceals nothing from You, But the night shines as bright as the day; Darkness and light are alike to You. [Dan_2:22]
He is everywhere, Omnipresent.
Psa 139:13 For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother's womb.
Psa 139:14 I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
Psa 139:15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was being formed in secret, And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.
Psa 139:16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were appointed for me, When as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].
All powerful, Omnipotent.
Psa 139:17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! [Psa_40:5]
Psa 139:18 If I could count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.
All loving
Jesus said
Mat 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Moses wrote this about our God.
Deu 32:3 For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God.
Deu 32:4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright isHe.
Why is so difficult to see our Heavenly Father the same way as Jesus?
The only reason we can’t see Him the way Jesus sees Him, is because we have aloud the enemy of our soul to lie to us, to deceive us.
How is satan lying to you? What is he using to distort the image of God for you?
a lie that has work so well and caught many, is your Heavenly Father is just like your earthly dad.
Is a simple lie but amazingly effective!
All of us long to have a relationship with our dad’s, we want their approval their love. We also know that there is no perfect human dad, some of them have fail terribly, and others have done an ok job but far from perfect, so to compare our father’s to our Heavenly Father is not fare.
I don’t remember anyone ever telling me that my dad and God was the same, but every child growing up makes the same assumption, until the age 4 or 5 we learn to trust and obey, Mom, dad and God are all the same. Mom and dad are your world, and whatever they say is true and right if they tell you that, There is a God you believe them, if they tell them there is no God, we will accept it.
All my fears about God, my doubts, my believes about, He will not be able to fulfill His promises, he does not accept me, or he is not there for me, all this believes were all based in my relationship with my earthly father and my unfair expectations of him.
The picture I had of God was this big man long white hair and long beard, looked just like Poseidon the violent Greek God of the sea or Neptune the god of fresh water and sea for the Romans, but in my picture instead of a trident fork he had a 2/ 4 just waiting for me to make a mistake. This was not the God I want to hang out with.
Some of our fathers, have greatly disappointed us, some have abandoned us, some have lied to you, some have hurt us physically or emotionally, most of us have already forgiven them, what is a very important step, but today we need to deal with the lies satan has sown into our hearts. God is not like your father, He is perfect.
2 Satan is a liar
2 Satan is a liar
Joh 8:44 part B
He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks what it natural to him, for he is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths.
Satan has been around for a long time, he is very good in observing human behavior, he knows all about emotional wounds, how powerful they are, show him a behavior and he immediately knows where the wound came from, so he can use to trap you. if it was a loss or a great disappointment, a betrayal, he will use them to make statements against our Heavenly Father.
Some of our wounds came through difficult times in our lives, financial difficulties, sickness, death of a beloved one, moments of great pain, most caused by the enemy himself, but He will always point the finger towards God. Even when the wound is a consequence of our own sin.
Satan is a strong believer in teaching us while we are young, regardless of what your parents may think. I hear from time-to-time parents saying, I’m not going to force religion on my children I will let them choose. If you are not teaching them the truth, believe me, the enemy of your soul will teach them some lies.
For a child is extremely hard to understand, and to see God through painful and difficult circumstances. I prayed with many people who felt totally abandon by God during their pain and suffering.
Ex.
I remember a few years ago teaching a school in Australia, and praying with this young man, when he was around five years old a fly bit him on his lip, his family were missionaries in Guatemala, somewhere in the jungle , the bite became infected and he had to go in to a hospital in the city and stay there, until they were able to control the infection. His brothers and sisters were all young, and no one could stay with him in the hospital, he was scared, felt abandoned, cried, and cried but had no one to comfort him.
From that day till the time, we prayed together, he could not trust God.
Satan knows how our wounds comes inn, many he inflicted himself, it was so true in this young man’s life, the name Beelzebub means the lord of the flies. I believe the enemy was after his life.
3 Letting go of our wounds.
3 Letting go of our wounds.
Sometimes our wounds comes from our own false expectations and our greed, but the enemy helps you to miss interpret things and then he points the finger at God.
Jas 1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
Jas 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
Jas 1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
I remember some years ago talking to this homeless guy, he was a nice man but he told me I don’t want anything with Jesus or God, I learned my lesson, he told me that a few years before, he was walking by a park in Los Angeles and a group of guys came around and preach the Gospel to him, he said that he received Jesus and prayed with them, after that he said he only walked a block and there was this gang and they gave him the worse beating of his life, this guy was big and very strong, a veteran soldier of the army, after he came back from the war he could not sleep in closed places, or inside of a home.
Our Heavenly Father had nothing to do with that beating, Satan is the one who led the gang to beat him up, then turned around and accused God of failing that man, not protecting him.
We need to let go of our wounds, somethings we cannot explain, but remember there is nothing evil that comes into your life that is from your Heavenly Father.
We need to bring our wounds to the cross so we can be healed, open them before the Lord, let Him clean it and heal it. Leave it at the foot of the cross.
We have a perfect Father who loves and accept us, who is for us who wants to heal us personally, and our nation.
2Ch 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
All we need to do is to let go of our wounds and false expectations, so we can see our heavenly Father the same way Jesus sees him.
All this begins when we make Jesus the Lord of our lives.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Joh 3:16
To receive Jesus we need to accept Him as God’s son, repent from our sins and a life of selfishness, asking Him to be our Lord and savior , not that we deserve it, but is a gift from God.
If this is your desire today, please repeat this prayer after me?
Heavenly Father
I’m sinner,
I’m sorry for my sins,
I’m willing to turn away from my sins.
I receive Christ as my savior,
I confess Him as Lord
And from this moment on I want to follow and serve Him,
in the fellowship of His church,
In Jesus name,
Amen!
1Co 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;
1Co 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
1Co 11:25 In the same manner Healso took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.
1Co 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
E mau aku ka loko maika’i o ka Haku, Iesu Kristo; me ke aloha a ke Akua, a me ka launa pu ‘ana mai o ka Uhane Hemolele ia ‘olua, a me makou apau. Amene.
