Revelation 7:9–10 ESV
9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
Introduction:
Let us note that the redeemed in Heaven come form all tribes; nations; and peoples

Heaven is a divine gift

Romans 6:23 ESV
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The community of Heaven is not a group of merit earners. It is a community a grateful believers in the power of Jesus sacrificial death.
He is the reason we’ll be there and the one who prepares it for us.

Divine preparations made for believers in heaven

John 14:2 ESV
2 In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

The Heavenly Community have the advantage of the best builder known to man. God Himself, creator of all things has made our place of destiny.

The redeemed in heaven by the blood of the lamb

Revelation 22:14 ESV
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

A place better than creation itself, is made possible by the work of the Son of God. Not the work of the sons of men.

The redeemed are identified with Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ acknowledges the redeemed as his own

Luke 12:8 ESV
8 “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God,

Jesus acknowledging you will make any sacrifice you made worth it.

Believers possess the family likeness to Jesus Christ

1 Corinthians 15:49 ESV
49 Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.

The Heavenly community must move toward the image and likeness of it’s Savior.
If Heaven is to be your home then it needs to begin in your heart so that it shows as your image.

Believers share divine life

2 Peter 1:4 ESV
4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

The Heavenly community exists in a manner that will not participate in the corruption that exists in this world.

Believers are citizens of the heavenly Jerusalem

Philippians 3:20 ESV
20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

The Heavenly community will learn how to live up to it’s citizenship over all others.
Every nation and tribe will leave it’s earthly heritage to be one in Heaven.

Their names are enrolled as citizens of heaven

Luke 10:20 ESV
20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Belonging in Heaven will have a eternal fulfilling like no other.
