        I.            People of Faith have received Jesus Christ

a.       Heard the word of truth

                                                               i.      Col 1:5-7 - the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth. You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,

b.      Understand the Grace of God

                                                               i.      Col 1:13-14 - For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

                                                             ii.       

      II.            People of Faith Walk in Jesus Christ

a.       Rooted, established, Built in the faith

b.      Everyday life style (whole life experience)

    III.            People of Faith overflow with Thanksgiving

a.       The greatness of forgiveness

b.      The ability to walk

    IV.            Conclusion

a.       Book ends

                                                               i.      Romans indicates the lost and Godless did not honor God as God and were not thankful

                                                             ii.      In the end days godless men will be among other things characterized by ungrateful attitude.

                                                            iii.      We however know that the mark of a Follower in Jesus Christ
