What Happens to you when being around Hope?

When we hang out with Hope:

The disciples hung out with Jesus and began to have hope that their problems were going to be fixed by Jesus.

They hoped for things like being saved from the oppression of the Romans.

They hoped for being set free from the controlling hypocrites in the temples.

After being with Jesus for while their focus and questions began to change. They began to have hope about being greater.

Who will be the best?

Who gets to sit at your side?

When Jesus was killed all their old questions and concerns came flooding back to them.

But After Jesus rose from the dead their entire paradigm changed from then on.

After Jesus beat death they realized the Romans were not the issue it was being afraid of death.

Luke 24:50–53 NASB95

50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple praising God.

Hanging around hope changes you from the inside.

27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
