They Missed it!

Their pride and insecurities made them miss the Gift of God in their midst.

They think they know who he is. They have place Jesus as one among us. in their pride they lack the ability to see beyond their personal understanding. Because of their lack of sight they lose the gift of Jesus Christ. We too must be careful and not to fall into the same temptation.

Thinking we know Jesus and thus place him in a box and anything that is not “my Jesus” does not belong. If we believe that Jesus is real. That he is Man and God, better yet that he is present in the Eucharist then we must let go of “my Jesus” and Let HIM be JESUS our God and Savior a real person that wants to have a relationship with you. A person that wants to know you personally and share with you who he is daily. Because brothers and sisters, as long as we maintain Jesus in our little box we cannot take the part of the fullness of his healing and power.

How do we do this then? We must follow the Law of the Cross. where the grace of God proves its power in weakness. We too can experience the resurrection in our daily passions if we just allow our weaknesses to be seen and touch by Christ. if we hide them we shall never experience the power that St. Paul and all the saints have experience in their lives.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me” (2 Co 12:9.)
