1 Corinthians 13:9-11
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
INTRODUCTION:
example of growth
A child might lying but a mature man would stand for the truth. psalm 120:2
2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
A child might be disrespectful but a mature man expect to respect.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
A boy might lost his anger but a man should be able to control it.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
A boy might be profane or abusive but a man needs to have self -control
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
a boy might be indiscipline but a man needs to be discipline
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
