Where Do You Rest Your Mind The Most?
Where Do You Rest Your Mind The Most?
Presumption - to go beforehand, a characteristic of having a proud mindset, can lead to incorrect interpretation and premature speaking (Deuteronomy 17:12-13)
One of our greatest, most difficult challenge in our walk with God, is overcoming the presumptuous spirits; those thoughts that cause you to lean to your own understanding, forgetting about The Mind Of Christ that is in you!
Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But he who heeds counsel is wise.
Deuteronomy 17:12-13 Now the man who acts presumptuously and will not heed the priest who stands to minister there before the LORD your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall put away the evil from Israel. And all the people shall hear and fear, and no longer act presumptuously.
Jesus influenced many with His Ability to continue in The Power regardless of what circumstances he faced. . .
The Word of God gives wise counsel; what happens when we allow presumptuous thinking to be birth, is that we allow what we presume is the case, to be right in our own eyes and the majority of times, if you really think about it, your own thinking causes you the most restlessness and become unsettled. .
I am guilty myself, because of my own thinking, I have allowed my heart to be troubled which led me into a state of despair. In order to come out of the place of despair, dejection, depression and feeling of loneliness, you must allow your mind to be settled on God’s Word and His Promises
Yes, I know this may sound cliche or redundant, but the more you focus on God the more Power you will realize you have!
Luke 15:17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
Presumptions can lead you into a belief that is not in the will of God, which causes you to become so depressed and at a loss!
You must ask yourself this question, “Where Does My Mind Rest The Most?” Let a man first examine himself. . .
When you come to the realization that God has caused me to overcome everything that I thought would defeat me, I realize that even in this right now I do not have to allow it to bring me back over, I am remaining in The Promises of God!
He brought me over, therefore I must stay here!
Overcoming = Victory, Perseverance, To Conquer, Winning!
